Over 400 people have tested for HIV/AIDS during a medical camp Kibiito market in Kibiito town council, Bunyangabu county Kabarole district.
The camp was organized by Youth Encouragement Services (YES) with support from Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI) and partnered with Fort Portal regional referral hospital and Platform for the NEEDY (PLANE) .
Services offered including HIV counseling and testing, General body check and drama entertainment on Domestic Violence, Family Planning and Elimination of Mother To Child Transmission of HIV /AIDS.
Kamusi David hailing from Kibiito said he has learnt to be faithful to his partner as the only way to avoiding HIV .
Mugisa Patrick, Tugume Teopista and Mugabi Moses also from Kibiito appreciated BAHEMUKA drama for being educative and sensitizing the masses of issues affecting them daily in their homes.
Ainganiza Steven PLANE asked the people to continue listening to BAHEMUKA DRAMA on Voice of Tooro fm from 6:45-7:00am Monday to Friday.
He told the people that the play tackles issues affecting the general public ranging health and sanitation, reproductive Health, human rights, corruption among others.
