Dr. Rohit Radit
Michigan, USA Ambassador
I am a quality-driven MBBS graduate from Tribhuwan University Nepal’s affiliated KIST Medical College and Teaching Hospital. I am 28 years old and completed my medical school in 2019. After completing my academic studies, I was able to amass nearly 3 years of professional experience as a medical doctor at the emergency department of Om Saibaba Memorial Hospital, a tertiary care facility, where I am now employed as the in-charge medical doctor. I gained useful professional knowledge about managing chronic diseases, outpatient care, and emergency medical procedures here. I was able to participate in several volunteer organizations and run a number of free health camps during this time. I’m in the US now. I am a pre-residency intern at the Heart and Vascular Institute of Michigan.
I’ve always been drawn to the needs of needy people, and PLATFORM for NEEDY is the area that perfectly suits my love for assisting those in need. My instructors and peers have continually applauded me for my hard work and results-oriented attitude in both my academic and professional lives. Whether working on extracurricular, professional, or academic endeavors. Additionally, I was able to publish a couple papers in a journal that was indexed by PubMed.
As a Global Ambassador, I want to use my medical expertise and opportunity to improve people’s health in a way that will benefit society, the local area, and Uganda as a whole in the long run. To help me build a team and join me, I am presently seeking ambassadors to help realize our goal. Beginning in September, I will have Zoom meetings with potential donors.
Being a doctor from Nepal, I believe that improving the lives of all people comes first, and that no one’s desire to serve humanity should be constrained by geographic boundaries. PLANE appears to be in good hands. I look over the annual reports and find the projects to be quite intriguing. The organization will expand even further with adequate funding support. I have been a part of PLANE for a year now, and I will continue to do whatever I can to help those that need support in Uganda.

Hasini Keetha

Hey there! I’m Sarang, a 15-year old living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I’m genuinely passionate about contributing to the well-being of others and giving back to the community. I’ve been fortunate in having access to all the necessities in life and more, and it’s made me acutely aware of the disparities that exist. Many people around the world lack even the most basic essentials like education, healthcare, food, and shelter. Given my age and financial constraints as a 15-year-old, I may not have the means to directly provide these necessities to underprivileged children and communities. However, I firmly believe that giving my time and energy to a cause like the Platform of the Needy can make a significant impact. My sincere hope is to bring positive change to the lives of those in Uganda, to share moments of joy with every individual there.
Furthermore, I aspire to volunteer my time teaching Physics and Astronomy to the children in this organization. My own passion for space exploration and science drives me to share my knowledge and inspire these young minds to explore the wonders of the universe. It’s about nurturing their curiosity and helping them discover the incredible world of science. If you have any doubts or could like to contribute to Plane Uganda, feel free to contact me on Instagram @sarrrangg or sarang.srilal@gmail.com
