Dr.Ismael Valladolid-Acebes
Organization Development Director – PLANE
Hello, my name is Ismael Valladolid-Acebes. I am originally from Spain, but I have spent the last 12 years living in Sweden and performing research in Medical Sciences at Karolinska Institute. I graduated as PharmD at Complutense University of Madrid and I got my PhD with honors in 2012. Also, I have an extensive expertise in clinical drug development alongside all the phases of the product´s lifecycle thanks to my specialization at Harvard Medical School and my MSci in Clinical research.
I have spent my entire life working for the improvement of human wellbeing, which is the ultimate goal of every researcher. In my 12-year journey at Karolinska Institutet, I acquired a robust background in medical sciences, with extensive training and experience in various healthcare settings.
My care for the people and my passion for overcoming clinical unmet needs are my driving forces to join The PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE), a charity NGO operating in Uganda. At PLANE I work as a Global Ambassador and Organization Development Director and reinforce the humanitarian efforts required in Uganda. Please, join and help us at improving health outcomes at the community level, such as vaccination campaigns, health education, and disease prevention efforts. United we are stronger

Christina Clements-Organization Development Manager – PLANE USA
I am a mom of four in Kansas, United States. I am currently studying Global Management through Arizona State University’s virtual program. I have learned that globalization is critical to connecting people in positive ways through economic free trade. The opportunity to empower these women and children to build new lives and also to care for their environment resonates deeply for me. I hope in working together with this team we will identify and reduce barriers for the needs of Ugandan women and create new paths for their goals.
My passion is in Empowering a Woman, empowering a Generation!
In Uganda, women and children face immense challenges, including poverty, inequality, and limited access to education and healthcare. But with your support, we can change their lives!
Our mission is to provide:
- Vocational training and economic empowerment for women
- Educational support and scholarships for children
- Healthcare services and nutrition programs for families
Your generosity will help us:

TAHA ALI GLOBAL
AMBASSADOR MIDDLE EAST FUND
Hello everyone! I am Taha Ali, a year 12 student pursuing engineering at The Winchester School, Dubai. Since I was a child, my parents always taught me to serve this humanity to make it a better place for everyone to live in. Back home in India, I have seen many children wanting to be successful and respected, but the lack of resources crushes their dreams and aspirations. Since then I have decided to make it my life mission to give every child the resources and opportunities they deserve. I believe PLANE Uganda’s aims and goals match my purpose in life!
I vow to be a successful member of this organization hoping to help as many students as possible.
