Education is a fundamental right for all children around the world. In order to support this education, scholastic and educational materials, such as books, writing utensils, and papers, are needed. Many Ugandan students lack these materials in order to have a quality education.

The Community Education Project, sponsored by PLANE’s Global Volunteers/Ambassadors Peato Wangweera and Anna Boonteang Wangweera, gave out these scholastic materials to the children of St.Peter & Paul Primary School, Fort Portal Tourism City. Both Dr.Fr.Pascal Kabura, a PLANE board member and the Director of Bishop Magambo Counselor Institute, and  Rev. Sarah Kakyo, head Health department Rwenzori diocese, presided the event.
