Ainganiza Wadell Steven
Steven is the vision bearer and founder of PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE) .He is a professional teacher and Journalist. He has a Certificate in primary education and Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism &Mass Communication.
He also holds a Diploma in Journalism. Steven has served in both Electronic and Print Media since 2006. He served as a reporter and Assistant News editor Voice of Tooro 101 FM from 2006-2008. During that time he also freelanced with Red Pepper Publication, Uganda Radio and Radio One FM 90 Kampala. From 2008-2019, Steven worked as a Managing Editor at
Voice of Tooro 101 FM. In 2019 he received an award for being passionate and championing advocacy radio programs promoting women and vulnerable children’s rights to address their plight.
Steven was a victim of Domestic Violence .He experienced a lot of torture and suffering subjected to him by the step mothers, sisters and brothers.
The suffering and horrible experience Steven went through explains why he founded PLANE to advocate for the rights of vulnerable children and women whose rights are abused. He appeals to every one in the world to join in the struggle to fight the acts of Gender Based Violence and promote children’s rights.
