Preparing for EIMNUN 2023
Researching Uganda’s Perspective
To effectively represent Uganda, I immersed myself in thorough research to comprehend the country’s stance on issues related to juvenile delinquency. This involved studying the national legislation, policies, and initiatives aimed at addressing this critical matter. By understanding Uganda’s perspective, I was better equipped to present informed arguments and propose comprehensive solutions during the conference.
Formulating a Strategy
To make the most impact at EIMUN 2023, I formulated a strategic plan that encompassed my goals and objectives as a delegate representing Uganda. This involved identifying key talking points, crafting persuasive arguments, and considering potential counterarguments. By meticulously planning my approach, I aimed to effectively advocate for stronger state accountability in addressing juvenile delinquency.

Impressive Opening Ceremony
The conference kicked off with an inspiring opening ceremony that brought together delegates from 15 countries. It was a testament to the power of international collaboration in addressing global challenges. The diverse range of perspectives and expertise in the room set the stage for a fruitful and engaging conference.
As a delegate of Uganda, I actively participated in committee sessions that focused on the agenda of “State accountability on the presentation of Juvenile delinquency.” These sessions provided a platform for in-depth discussions, where delegates presented their research, shared experiences, and proposed solutions. It was truly enlightening to witness the exchange of ideas and the passion displayed by delegates from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout the conference, I engaged in collaborative negotiations with fellow delegates to build consensus on crucial issues related to state accountability for juvenile delinquency.
